News from the Infant
Class
During the month of March we were very busy reading about dinosaurs and the jungle.
We made lots of St. Paddy's Day decorations! It is finally Spring! We have enjoyed taking walks and going on the swings. We have reached more milestones this past month as well. Lucas has turned 1 years old and is attempting to take his first steps. Damian is standing and crawling.
Lukas said his first word "dada" and waved hi along with scooting backwards all around. Jason is sitting up with no assistance and has also began to scoot. He loves scooting around in circles to reach the toys he wants. We hope that April brings us lots of sunshine and little rain.
Happy Easter and have a great
month!
Miss Linda News from the Toddler Class I want to thank all of you for coming in for conferences last month. It was wonderful to have had a
chance to talk together about your children. This month is going to be very busy! Be sure to set aside Thursday, April 2nd for our Art Show and the
week of April 20-24th we will be celebrating the Week of the Young Child! Friday, April 24th is our
Family Fest from 6:00pm - 8:00pm! Be sure to stop by and join us for lots
of family fun at our Family Fest!!
This month we will be saying goodbye to Charlotte. She will be staying at home to help mom with her new baby sister
who is due real soon! We will miss you and hope to see you back in
the fall!
Miss Debbi & Miss Lidia News from the 2's Class Wow, where did March go? We have a very busy month ahead with the upcoming Art Show and then the
Week of the Young Child. We will be talking about variations of the color
Yellow (the color of the month)
Spring, Easter and China!
Please continue to send winter boots in case the
playground is muddy.
Miss Rene' News from the 3's Class It is hard to believe that Spring is here already! Last month we learned about the jungle, healthy eating, St. Patrick's Day, Ireland and Signs of Spring. We received a note saying there was gold hidden around the room. The children searched, found gold and helped count what we found. We found 46 pieces of
gold!
The children told us that a leprechaun had hid
the gold! Thank you to the Messinger, Tokar and Driscoll families
for bringing
in items for our St. Patrick's Day celebration. This month is going to be a very busy month starting with our Open House and Art Show on April 2nd.
We look forward to seeing everybody there! We will be learning about spring, flowers, Easter and bunnies, farms, creepy crawlers and we will have our Week of the Young Child activities based on learning about the country of France! The Week of the Young Child will end with our
Family Fest on April 24th.
We look forward to seeing everyone at both our
Art Show and Family Fest!
Miss Robin & Miss Cindy News from the 4's Class Graduation practice has been going great! You should have received the order form for graduation caps & gowns! Please read the form carefully and return as soon as possible, by April 13th at the latest so we can place our order!
Don't forget the big event is on Thursday, May 28th.
We have been getting ready for the Art Show, Thursday April 2nd, where your child's art will be on display. We are hoping that everyone will be able to stop by, if even only for a few minutes to see the hard work their child has done all year long! Mystery bags are still going strong and are very exciting!
Thank you to everyone
participating.
Miss Rachel and Miss Megan News from the School agers Class Thank goodness Spring is finally here!!! Please remember it is muddy outside, so make sure your child has his/her boots daily for outdoor play. PLEASE HELP US! We are trying to keep the new carpeting clean and fresh looking! If you pick up your child while we are outside and re-enter the Annex, please check your child's shoes or boots for mud. If they are muddy, please ask your child to remove the shoes or boots until they reach the front door where they can put them back on. The children have been so conscience about keeping the new carpet nice and clean to play on and now we hope the parents will do the same.
Thanks! Miss Megan |
