Welcome to the Three's and Four's Summer Camp class!

Miss Jennifer

Title: Teacher, Assistant Director
Education: Bachelor Degree in Education
I started working at Today's Child in the summer of
1996, but left to go away to college. I graduated in
May 2000 and returned to Today's Child to work with
the school aged children. Since then, I have taught
the 3's class, 4's class, and the kindergarteners.

While at Valparaiso, I did my field experience in
kindergarten and 2nd grade. I also tutored 2nd and
3rd graders in reading. During my senior year, I
spent time volunteering at Head Start. My semester
of student teaching was spent in a fourth grade classroom.

In my spare time, I like to take walks with my dog,
go biking, boating and spend weekends at my family's
summer home in Michigan.

Miss Laura

Title: Teacher
Education: Senior at Hope College
Majoring in Special Education

My name is Laura Hargrove. I began attending Today's
Child when I was 18 months old and continued attending
through elementary school. I have many fond memories
of Today's Child and am happy to be back as a staff
member.

I am a graduate of Palatine High School. I recently
completed my junior year at Hope College in Holland,
Michigan. I am majoring in Special Education; learning
disabilities. Since I was 12, I have had many
experiences working with children of all ages through
babysitting, volunteering with the children's ministry
at my church, and experience at schools and daycares.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family
and friends. I also love being outdoors. My favorite
outdoor activity in kayaking. I also enjoy taking my
dog for walks, swimming, and going on bike rides.
In addition, I enjoy taking pictures, laughing really
hard, and eating ice cream.
